On a moonless night, no one heard them coming.  From the silence, the night erupted in a torrent of high velocity fire steaking across the fixed fortifications, outlook towers and airfield hangers.  Aircraft are tossed, smashed and set ablaze as explosions rake across the flight line.  Throughout the installation, the sound of alarm klaxons and the barking of orders soon gave way to the explosions and detonations of buildings and ammo stores.  As the first wave of attack subsides, a low rumbling followed by a strong swift wind blows particles of fire and smoke among the shocked and wounded defenders.

As the air defences are manned and turned to cleanse the attackers from the night sky, the swift sound of missiles striking the unprepared defenders drowns out any supresses the futile efforts of the gun crews.  Secondary ammo explosions, pieces of man and machine are strewn about as the remaining survivors flee for cover.  Finally, the distinctive scream of airbone death fills the air as bombs rain down  wiping out any last vestiages of the order and calm which filled the air only minutes before.  As the last rumble of explosions is felt, once again the low rumbling wind blows across the devestation leaving only twisted blackened remnants, pillars of smoke and burning embers across the potmarked landscape.

From the T'au homeworld comes the premiere elite cadre of air pilots and warriors.  Specializing in night sorties and covert operations as well head-on enagements, the Tau of Air Cadre Wind Reapers have rarely leave survivors to tell of their encounters.  Combining both highly skilled pilots and advanced drone and weapons technology allows for precision attacks and strategic superiority in the skies and on the ground.

So what do you think of the choices of paint scheme?

Both are classic color combos so you really can't go wrong there.  For ease of painting, the black and blue scheme will be easier.  That dark red can be a bitch to get right, but if you do pull it off it rocks.

Nice, I really love the Tau ships, if I ever got into AI or BFG I would totally play them just cause their tanks/ships are so badass looking.

Tavus is on the money with the color scheme info.  Black/Blue is much easier to do, but the Black and Red (if done right) will really pop at you.

Gonna start posting in this thread again.  I want to play at the store again when Jody  starts up with AI.
